This Creator Payout Policy governs creator settlement and payout processes for creators using Shine, operated by Sovra Technology Pvt Ltd, via www.shineapp.online
Shine is a digital creator monetization platform that enables verified creators to monetize approved digital offerings through platform-compliant payment infrastructure.
By applying for or using creator monetization features, creators agree to this policy, along with the Terms & Conditions, Creator Verification Policy, and other applicable platform policies.
Purpose
This policy explains:
- creator payout eligibility
- settlement timelines
- payout verification requirements
- deductions and adjustments
- payout holds
- dispute handling
- compliance-related restrictions
Eligibility for Payouts
Creators may become eligible for payouts only after successful completion of required verification.
Eligibility may require:
- approved creator onboarding
- identity verification
- PAN verification
- Aadhaar or lawful ID verification (where applicable)
- bank account verification
- compliance approval
- acceptance of platform policies
Shine may refuse payout activation until verification is complete.

Eligible payout-generating activity may include approved digital transactions such as:
- subscriptions
- memberships
- premium digital content sales
- approved downloadable digital offerings
- educational digital access
- compliant platform-native creator monetization
Only approved transactions qualify.
Settlement Model
Payments made by users through Shine are processed via authorized payment infrastructure.
Creator earnings are settled according to Shine’s internal settlement process after:
- successful payment capture
- fraud review
- dispute risk assessment
- applicable holding periods
- reconciliation checks
- policy compliance verification
Shine may act as the platform facilitator for approved creator monetization transactions.
Settlement Timeline
Creator payouts are processed within 14 business days after eligible transaction clearance
Platform fee: 20%
Settlement Processing Conditions
Payout processing depends on:
- successful payment capture
- payment settlement confirmation
- fraud review completion
- dispute and chargeback monitoring
- creator verification status
- compliance approval
- bank processing timelines
- payout eligibility review
Important Note
Settlement timelines are indicative operational timelines and may be delayed where required for:
- fraud prevention
- chargeback exposure
- suspicious activity review
- incomplete verification
- payment processor delays
- banking interruptions
- regulatory or compliance requirements
Shine reserves the right to place temporary payout holds where necessary for platform safety and payment ecosystem compliance.
Minimum Payout Threshold
Where applicable, payouts may be released only after reaching the minimum threshold.
Example: Minimum payout threshold: ₹500
Thresholds may change with notice.
Deductions
Shine may deduct amounts including:
- payment settlement cycles
- platform fees
- payment processing charges
- taxes (where applicable)
- refunds
- chargebacks
- dispute losses
- compliance penalties
- reversal adjustments
Creators are responsible for understanding applicable deductions.
Payout Holds
Shine may place temporary holds on payouts where necessary for:
- fraud prevention
- suspicious transaction review
- excessive refund activity
- chargeback risk
- policy violations
- prohibited activity detection
- payment processor review
- incomplete verification
- legal/regulatory obligations
Holds may remain until review is completed.
Prohibited Revenue
Creators are not entitled to payout for prohibited activity including:
- adult content monetization
- escort or companionship arrangements
- dating monetization
- offline paid services
- fraudulent transactions
- payment abuse
- fake/self-generated transactions
- deceptive monetization activity
- unlawful commercial activity
Associated earnings may be withheld, reversed, or forfeited where permitted.
Refunds & Chargebacks
If a customer refund, reversal, or chargeback occurs:
- the related transaction amount may be deducted
- future payouts may be adjusted
- settlement may be delayed
- reserve holds may apply
Creators remain responsible for transactions associated with their monetized offerings.
Tax Responsibility
Creators are responsible for their own tax compliance, including:
- income tax obligations
- GST obligations (where applicable)
- lawful reporting requirements
Shine may request tax-related information where required.
Bank Account Responsibility
Creators must provide accurate payout details.
Shine is not responsible for payout failure caused by:
- incorrect account information
- invalid bank details
- account closure
- rejected transfers
- banking restrictions
Creators must promptly update payout information.
Account Suspension Impact
If a creator account is suspended, restricted, or terminated due to:
- policy violations
- fraud concerns
- prohibited services
- payment abuse
- identity verification failure
- legal requirements
payout processing may be delayed, withheld, adjusted, or cancelled subject to review.
Audit & Compliance Rights
Shine reserves the right to audit creator monetization activity.
This may include:
- transaction review
- payment behavior analysis
- content compliance review
- fraud assessment
- payout reconciliation
- documentation requests
Creators must cooperate with compliance requests.
Platform Discretion
Shine reserves the right to:
- modify payout schedules
- revise payout thresholds
- hold settlements
- reject ineligible transactions
- reverse prohibited earnings
- suspend monetization privileges
